Reverend John Cheeseman was a very special mentor and friend as well as our family's minister in Martinsville for many years. He helped to start a wonderful youth singing group called the Soul Searchers. While ministering to others in our church, community , and other cities, we all grew in our faith. This was attributed to John Cheeseman being a wonderful, fun loving, and faithful teacher of God's word. He remained a faithful friend and spiritual power in our life as he was there for the death of my grandmother and mother, married my sisters and myself, as well as christening my son. I will forever remember him and the many ways he ministered to our youth and help get me started on my spiritual journey. I love you Reverend Cheeseman. I still see you smiling.
