Jennifer L. Alder (Coram)
Jennifer L. (Coram) Alder, 52, of Indianapolis, IN passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 21, 1964 in Franklin, IN to Fredric and Nancy (Chapman) Coram. She married Larry J. Alder at the Indiana Masonic Home Chapel on September 19, 1994 in Franklin, IN he survives.
She was a 1983 graduate of Center Grove High School and a member of Pleasant Valley Christian Church in Acton, IN. She enjoyed interior designing and especially spending time with her grandchildren that she considered so precious in her life. She owned and operated alongside her family, Joyful Hearts Preschool and Day Care in the Glenn’s Valley Community in Indianapolis, IN which was her lifelong dream and vision for over 23 years.
Surviving is her husband Larry J. Alder of Indianapolis; children Jason S. Van Horn (Trisha) of Cincinnati, OH, Jessica L. Ritter of Greenwood, IN, Jada Renee` Woods of Chesterfield, IN, Jason Kyle Alder (Michelle) of Anderson, IN; mother Nancy (Chapman) Coram of Indianapolis, IN; sisters Diane Houpt (Jim) of Greenwood, IN, Beth Tollison (Brad) of Indianapolis, IN; brother Jeff Coram of Indianapolis, IN; ten grandchildren Nathaniel Ryan, Gabriel Ryan, Israel Ryan, Dylan Alder, Seth Alder, Tyler Van Horn, Carter Van Horn, Kyleigh Van Horn, Alexis Ritter, Easton Ritter; nieces and nephews Talya Coram of Greenwood, IN, Christian Coram of Indianapolis, IN, Joshua Tollison (Cassandra) of Indianapolis, IN, Victoria Carter (Tony) of Fountaintown, IN, Savannah Tollison of Indianapolis, IN, Sarah Houpt of Greenwood, IN; and her sister-in-law Cynthia L. Van Horn of Mt. Home, AK.
She was preceded in death by her father Fredric A. Coram on January 26, 2014.
Pastor Greg Edens will conduct a service celebrating the life of Jennifer L. Alder on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 2PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN.
