Valerie Jean Long, 57, of Greenwood, IN, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2015, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis, IN.
She was born December 9, 1957 in Oroville, California, to Eugene Clyde Grigory and Carol (Sturman) Grigory. She married Paul R. Long on February 14, 1976, in Sacramento, California, he survives.
She had been a sales associate for Michael’s in Greenwood, IN where she had been a professional framer. She also enjoyed being a seamstress, crocheting, painting, needlepoint, and all arts and crafts. She especially enjoyed cooking.
Survivors include her husband, Paul R. Long of Greenwood, IN; daughters Virginia “Ginny” Johnson (Ronnie), and Charlotte Hanafee (Matthew) both of Noblesville, IN; a son Matthew Long of Camby, IN; three brothers, three sisters, and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
