Jolela R. VanDyne (Mechlin)
Jolela R. VanDyne, 68, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at her residence. She was born September 21, 1944 in Springfield, Ohio to Harry and Ida (Bainter) Mechlin. She married Oakley T. VanDyne on June 15, 1991 in Mexico, Missouri; he survives. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband Oakley T. VanDyne of Indianapolis; two sons, Brandon Kistner of Hollister, California and John R. Breden of Shelbina, Missouri; two daughters, Lorreene Hottenstein of Springfield, Ohio and Melyna Kistner-Farris of Mexico, Missouri; stepchildren Kimberly Bishop of Phoenix, Arizona, Robert Donald VanDyne, William Oakley VanDyne, and Kris McNulty, all of Indianapolis; two foster children, Jerry Alan Delany of Springfield, Ohio and Nicole Underwood of Morris, Minnesota; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Elwood Gordin, Marvin Mechlin, and Lanny Mechlin.
Services will be Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 2 P.M. at Ferncliff Cemetery Chapel in Springfield, Ohio with calling Saturday from 12 Noon until service time at the chapel with burial to follow at Ferncliff Cemetery.
