Obituary for Donald W. LeMasters
Donald W. LeMasters, 85, of Greenwood, IN passed away Monday, May 20, 2019 at Southpointe Healthcare Center in Indianapolis, IN. He was born in Washington, Davies County, Indiana to John R. and Nellie (White) LeMasters. He married Barbara L. (Baldwin) LeMasters on April 17, 1954 in Indianapolis, IN, she survives.
Don had been a lithographer for Burford Printing, Wright Printing, and Jackson Printing, all in Indianapolis for 60 years. He previously had worked for the Mutual Milk Company in Indianapolis, IN. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, gardening, and especially he enjoyed Bass fishing and competing in various tournaments.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years Barbara L. (Baldwin) LeMasters; his children Vicky LeMasters of Greenwood, IN, Donna McClellan (Mark) of Greenwood, IN, and Scott LeMasters (Kelly) of Greenwood, IN; three grandchildren Chelsea McClellan, Marci McClellan, and Christopher LeMasters; a sister Joyce Riley of Burleson, Texas; and a brother Bruce LeMasters (Marilyn) of Southport, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Leo LeMasters, Max LeMasters, Ralph LeMasters, and Eugene LeMasters.
The Reverend Larry McAdams will conduct a memorial service on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 4PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN. where the family will receive friends from 2PM Thursday, May 23, 2019 till service time at the mortuary.
