John E. Porter, 81, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on Wednesday, May 08, 2019 at Lynhurst Healthcare in Indianapolis, IN. He was born July 5, 1937 in Centerville, Iowa to Edward William Porter and Marietta (Hism) Porter.
He was a graduate of Portland High School in Portland, IN, a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University and attended the Indiana University School of Law in Bloomington, IN. He had been a sales associate for CVS Pharmacy in Speedway, IN.
He is survived by a sister Margaret Hearn of Carmel, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Mary Ann Shubat in 2005.
