Florence Rose (Lynn) Novak, 93, of Greenwood, IN and formerly of La Porte, IN passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Greenwood Village in Greenwood, IN. She was born November 22, 1925 in Chicago, IL to Hugh and Mary Agnes (McHale) Lynn. She married Richard E. Novak Sr. on March 15, 1952 in Chicago, IL, he preceded her in death on February 24, 1993.
She was a member of St. Roch Catholic Church in Indianapolis, IN and St. Peter Catholic Church in La Porte, IN. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children Mary A. Novak of Indianapolis, IN, Genevieve A. Novak of Indianapolis, IN, Richard E. Novak Jr. (Sue La Rue) of Indianapolis, IN, and Frank Novak (Kathy Lange-Novak) of Madison, WI; six grandchildren Emma Lange-Novak (Peter De Salvo), Edward Lange-Novak, R. E. Novak, Christopher Novak, Mary Hughes (Ryan), and Nicholas Novak; and one great- grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter Therese Rose Novak; a brother Frank Lynn; and sisters Mary Lynn and Genevieve Lynn.
Service are private. Interment will take place in Pine Lake Cemetery in La Porte, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
