Obituary for Rhea D. McGuinness (Mulligan)
Rhea D. (Mulligan) McGuinness, 55, of Martinsville, IN passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018. She was born August 31, 1963 in Beech Grove, Indiana. She was a graduate of Eau Gallie High School in Melbourne, Florida. She had been a Rehab Specialist Coordinator at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin, IN.
She was a member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church in Indianapolis, IN. She enjoyed crafts, boating, spending time on the beach, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a strong advocate for breast cancer. She married William J. McGuinness on September 18, 1982 in Indianapolis, IN., he survives.
Also surviving is her son Ryan S. McGuinness (Laura) of Southport, IN; a daughter Kristina K. McGuinness of Martinsville, IN; five grandchildren Lily McGuinness, Paige Dearlove, Ryla McGuinness, Alayna McGuinness, and baby McGuinness due in April of 2019; her father James Mulligan of Manilla, IN; stepfather Don Mull of Greenwood, IN; stepbrothers Mark Mull of Greenwood, IN, Dan Mull of Trafalgar, IN, Scott Mull of Whiteland, IN; step-sisters Amy Mull Gaskin of Greenwood, IN, and Lori Mulligan of Ft. Wayne, IN.
She was preceded in death by her mother Judy (Burge) Mull, a brother Stephen Mulligan and a sister Melissa Phelps.
Father Matthew Tucci will conduct a memorial service on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 7PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN, where friends may call from 3PM till service time at the mortuary.
