Obituary for Sharon Arthur (Lindsey)
Sharon (Lindsey) Arthur, 77, of Franklin, IN passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis, IN. She was born May 26, 1941 in Susquehanna, PA to Floyd Raymond and Anna Marie (Lannon) Lindsey. She married Charles Clemo Arthur, Jr. on January 1, 1960 in Susquehanna, PA, he preceded her in death on September 1, 2009.
She owned and operated My Pampering Place in Franklin, IN. In her 30 year career as a cosmetologist, her passion was showing love and ministering to the many people that started out as clients, but became friends and family. She was a member of Grace Assembly Church in Greenwood, IN.
Survivors include her sons; Charles Clemo Arthur III (Jodi) of Milford, DE, Timothy Alan Arthur (Beth) of Franklin, IN, Thomas Michael Arthur (Sharyl) of Greenwood, IN, and Daniel Joseph Arthur (Shanda) of Cincinnati, OH; a daughter-in-law Lonnie Rae (McNally) Arthur of Franklin, IN; grandchildren, Lori Jones, Sarah Simon, Robert “Bo” Arthur Jr., Eric Arthur, Chris Arthur, Brandy Burk, Nathan “Pete” Arthur, Hannah Meyer, Alyson Arthur, Noah Arthur, Jacob Arthur, and Kylee Arthur; great-grandchildren Bliss, Ella, Haleigh, Piper, Aiden, Alaina, Brycen, Blayne, and Paisley; a brother Mark Lindsey of South Carolina; and two sisters Kathy Estabrook (Jim) and Penny Estabrook (Ralph) both of Pennsylvania.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Roberta Haskins, David Lindsey and Daniel Lindsey; her husband; and son Robert Paul Arthur Sr.
Pastor Jim Bricker will conduct a service on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 7PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN, where friends may attend the visitation from 4PM till service time at the mortuary.
