Obituary for Deanna Ruth Sedam

Deanna Ruth Sedam, 78 of Franklin, IN. passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday afternoon, December 10, 2018 at Winter Haven Hospital in Winter Haven, Florida.
She was born June 21, 1940, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Russell Speas Davis and Alma Jean (McNeely) Davis. She married Lee Robert Sedam on April 15, 1962 in Trafalgar, Indiana, he survives.
Deanna was a member of the Trafalgar Christian Church and a 1958 graduate of Trafalgar High School. She was employed at Union Bank and Trust Company, serving the community for many years. Then, after the local bank was acquired by Bank One, she continued her service at the Bank One Operations Center in Indianapolis until her retirement. She also worked with her husband on the family farm.
She enjoyed spending time with her family at Sweetwater Lake, reading and traveling. She loved sports, particularly racing and attending her grandchildren’s soccer and softball activities. She especially enjoyed her time in warm, sunny Florida.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years Lee Robert Sedam of Franklin, IN, two daughters Brenda Quinn (Ray) of Franklin, IN and Jill Logsdon (Scott) of Franklin, IN., and two grandchildren – Michael Ramey (Michelle) and Sydney Logsdon both of Franklin, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Pastor Jane Stout will conduct a service on Saturday, December 15 at 1:00pm at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, Indiana. Friends may call from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm Saturday at the mortuary. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Franklin.
