Lizzie Bee Qualls (Frazier)
Lizzie Bee (Frazier) Qualls, 81, of Franklin, Indiana passed away Saturday, July 9, 2011 at the Indiana Masonic Home in Franklin, Indiana. She was born January 29, 1930 in Scott County, Virginia to Robert and Flora (Reed) Frazier. She married Lester Qualls, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Qualls had worked for Walker’s Egg Hatchery in Greenwood, Indiana, was in charge of preparing desserts and salads at Jerry’s Restaurant in Greenwood, Indiana for five years, and worked at Greenwood Village South for several years. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Franklin. She loved her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great- grandchildren.
Survivors include her children Harold Qualls (Diane) of Franklin, Charles Qualls (Vickie) of Franklin, Kevin Qualls (Angie) of Bristol, Tennessee, Betty Daws (Michael) of Bargersville, Indiana; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great- grandchildren; a sister, Emma Coleman of Dayton, Ohio; and an extended family friend, Janet Adams (Bob) of Franklin. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and children James Qualls, Sammie Qualls, twins Loraine Qualls and Morrine Qualls, and Dorothy Hyatt; a brother, James Frazier; a sister, Verna Hayslip; and a great-grandchild, Jonathon David Hyatt.
Max Fraley will conduct a service Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. at Swartz Family Community Mortuary And Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin. Friends may call Monday, July 11, 2011 from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M. at the mortuary. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the Indiana Masonic Home for a memorial bench in Lizzie’s memory, 300 S. Morton Street, Franklin, Indiana 46131.
