I met Guy Mitchell in 1977 when he came to my hometown area to wrestle. The picture I chose from his gallery is one like the one I have that he autographed for me. I still have this picture and I pulled it out to reminice when I heard he had passed . My husband was one of Guy's fellow wrestlers, they wrestled each other on occasion. The last time we saw Guy was in the early 80's when both Guy and Ed were working for Antone Leone in California. We spent some time down at Fisherman's Wharf together, I have pictures from that day that I have always cherished, it was a day of fun as were all the times I can remember having with him. Last time we spoke on the phone was when Guy was working at a mall near his hometown as Santa Claus. He told me he loved that gig so much because of the magic Santa Claus had with the children, he said there was nothing like the look on the children's faces when they stepped up to meet Santa. I was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. I will hold on to the memories and I hope we can reminice together again one day. Prayers and strength go out to his family and friends.
