Obituary for Anita Lois Carmack

Anita Lois Carmack, 72, of Franklin, IN passed away at her residence in Franklin, IN surrounded by her loving family on Monday, April 1, 2019. She was born on November 8, 1946 in Franklin, IN to Dale Morris Betts and Betty Jane (Mayfield) Betts.
Anita graduated from Franklin High School in 1965. She worked at Johnson County REMC for 44 years. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Franklin, IN.
She enjoyed cooking for her family, friends, and serving in her church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a friend to so many.
Anita is survived by her two daughters Connie Allen (Jamie) of Nineveh, IN and Amy Curry of Franklin, IN; two grandsons Jordan Sharp (Taylor) of Columbus, IN, and Jacob Sharp of Nineveh, IN; two great-grandchildren Kensington Noelle and Keaton James Sharp; a brother Norman Betts of Franklin, IN; and sisters Rosemary Wallen (George) of Whiteland, IN, and Phyllis Aeillo of Edinburgh, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister Bonnie Parks.
Pastor Fred Brown and Doug Weddle will conduct a service on Friday, April 5, 2019 at 1:30 P.M. at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN. Friends may call Thursday, April 4, 2019 from 2PM till 8PM at the mortuary. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, IN.
