Obituary for Gene E. Frazier

Gene E. Frazier, 82, of Franklin, IN and former longtime resident of Whiteland, IN passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Homeview Health and Rehabilitation in Franklin, IN. He was born April 22, 1936 in Johnson County, IN to John and Dorothy (Walters) Frazier. He married his high school sweetheart Janice (Lee) Frazier on December 6, 1954 at the First Baptist Church in Greenwood, IN, she survives.
He was a retired farmer and had been a school bus driver for the Clark Pleasant Community School Corporation for over 20 years retiring in 2008. He was a member of New Beginnings Community Church in Franklin, IN, Jubilee Masonic Lodge #746 in Whiteland, IN and the Indianapolis Valley of the Scottish Rite.
Survivors include his wife Janice (Lee) Frazier of Franklin, IN; children Jody Dingwell (John) of Powhatan, VA, Johnie Rick Frazier (Shirley) of Franklin, IN, and Susan Sandlin (Howard) of Coatesville, IN; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers Jack Frazier (Anne) of Bargersville, IN, and Richard “Dick” Frazier (Evelyn) of Martinsville, IN; and one sister Linda Froelich (Ed) of Franklin, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a great-granddaughter.
A masonic service will be conducted on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at 1PM with the Reverend Bruce Bendinger conducting a service to immediately follow at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN, where friends may call from 11AM till service time at the mortuary.
