William H. “Bill” Wells, Jr. 49, of Franklin, IN passed away Friday, August 31, 2018 in Indianapolis, IN. He was born September 5, 1968 in Franklin, IN to William H. Wells Sr. and Sharon Lee (Wiegle) Wells. He was a 1986 graduate of Franklin Community High School.
He had been a pipe fitter for Rolls Royce Corporation in Indianapolis, IN. for twenty-four years. He was a member of Franklin Masonic Lodge #107, Whiteland Church of Christ, and the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed target shooting, hunting, working with his family on the family farm in Burkesville, KY, and riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle.
Survivors include his daughters Jessalyn Wells of Franklin, IN and Linzie Wells of Indianapolis, IN; his father William H. Wells Sr. of Shelbyville, IN; his sister Irene “Renie” Nalley (Clinton) of Franklin, IN; a grandson Conrad Matthews; one aunt, Debbie Graham of Franklin, IN; his fiancé Trella Dyer of Franklin, IN; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother Sharon Lee (Wiegle) Wells.
Friends may call Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 4-7PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN, where a service celebrating the life of William H. “Bill” Wells Jr. will be conducted at 7PM with Franklin Masonic Lodge #107 and Stanley Davis conducting. A graveside service will be conducted on Friday, September 7, 2018 Donaldson Cemetery near Celina, TN, where friends and family will meet at (3PM Tennessee time) (4PM Franklin, IN time) at the Norris and New Funeral Home, 601 North Main Street, in Burkesville, KY, for a formal funeral procession to the cemetery.
