Condolence: Prayers and Love go out to the Family.
Dr.. Claudy was a very special person... he always told me I was one of his first eye patients.. and ALWAYS asked about our family members when we would come in for eye exams. A lot of family and friends went to him. He will be missed!

Condolence: Joe, Always the racing gentleman. His looks and friendly demeaner belied his aggressiveness on the race track.
I competed against Joe on many SCCA Central Division race tracks. He worked hard developing his race craft. I believe he won the Road America June Sprints in his own car. We nicked named him "Big Motor Joe" in his early days as he had away of repassing you at the end of long straights.
A lovely man whom Kathy and I respected. Rest in Peace Joe

Condolence: I was a patient of Dr. Claudy at his optometry practice, and will certainly miss having him as my optometrist. He always had a smile on his face and a great sense of humor, and always used integrity in his practice. My sincere condolences go out to Mary Jo and the rest of Dr. Claudy's family.

Condolence: Although I never raced against Joe, I knew him for nearly 40 years and always admired his immense integrity. Truly a loss to his community and to SCCA. I hope to qualify for heaven so that I can see you again.

Condolence: Dear Mary Jo and family.....our hearts are saddened by the passing of your precious husband and father, Joe...but we rejoice knowing he is in the arms of his Savior for all eternity. I loved talking to Joe as he was full of charming wit and wisdoms. He was for sure, one of the nicest men I've ever met. May you take comfort in knowing you will certainly be reunited with him one day!

Condolence: Rest in peace Joe. You are with the Lord now! To the family, I never met a nicer man, nor one more committed to his faith. I had the pleasure to have raced with Joe for many years, he was a great competitor and an even better humane being. Several of our national races cam down to Joe and myself for the win, I always knew I was racing against someone with integrity that I could trust. More than any of my competitors, Joe will remain in my memory as friend. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Joe, I am looking forward to seeing you in heaven when my time comes. You will be missed my friend!
