Sharon L. (Haymaker) Meek, 75, of Franklin, IN passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018 at her residence. She was born April 21, 1943 in Franklin, IN to Donell and Velvia Pauline (Smith) Haymaker. She married William Harold Meek on August 26, 1961 at Bluff Creek Christian Church in Greenwood, IN, he preceded her in death on October 13, 2011.
She had been an underwriter for Farm Bureau Insurance in Indianapolis, IN and later worked for the Daily Journal.
Survivors include her three children Tina M. Meek (Lewis Mitchell) of Whiteland, IN, Trenda D. Meek (John Hutchison) of Franklin, IN, and Trace D. Meek (Shawnda K.) of Monrovia, IN; four grandchildren Ashely Swenson (Charles), Kevin England (Robyn), Cody Baker, and Chase Meek, a step-grandson Stephen Allen Blankenship; and a great-grandchildren Shelby England and step-grandson Tyler Jones; and three step-great-grandchildren Julian, Harmony, and Edward.
She was preceded in death by brothers Johnny Haymaker, Bob Haymaker, Gordon Haymaker, and a sister Janet Baker.
A celebration of Sharon L.
