Christian G. Salistean, 60, of Indianapolis, IN passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018. He was born on August 14, 1957 in France to Nicholas B. and Jacqueline M. (Hurtut) Salistean. He was a graduate of Oakwood High School in Dayton, OH and Kent State University. He had been an Airline Captain for PSA Airlines for 33 years having been the senior pilot for the company.
Survivors include his best friends Justin S. Kronmeyer, Michael Hoess, Joseph Turner, and many other close and great friends; a sister Annette Salistean of Hallandale, FL; and a nephew Jason Salistean of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Daniel Salistean.
A time of gathering and celebrating Christian’s life will take place Tuesday, August 14, 2018 from 4PM till 7PM at the Beach Shelter at Eagle Creek Park, 7840 West 56th Street in Indianapolis, IN, 46254. Memorial contributions may be for the care of Christian’s pets Ziggy and Sascha in care of Justin Kronmyer, and can be given at the celebration of life service or mailed to the mortuary.
