David L. Lindsey, 61, of Franklin, IN passed away Friday, June 29, 2018 at Franklin Meadows. He was born May 23, 1957 in Indianapolis, IN to Joseph Earl Lindsey and Jean (Moore) Lindsey. He married Becky J. (Rust) Lindsey on July 20, 1992 in Franklin, IN, she survives.
David had been employed by Thomas and Skinner Corporation in Indianapolis, IN for 37 years, retiring in 2015 as a slitter operator. He enjoyed yardwork and woodworking.
Survivors include his wife Becky J. (Rust) Lindsey of Franklin, IN; two sons Jon P. Bennett (Jennifer) of Statesboro, GA and Thomas S. Bennett of Greenwood, IN; siblings Rebecca L. Wood (Richard) of Indianapolis, IN, Phyllis J. Jordan (Ronald) of Indianapolis, IN, and Nancy A. Lindsey of Indianapolis, IN; brother-in-law Jacky D. Frawner of Houston, TX; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Dana E. Lindsey and Randall K. Lindsey.
Pastor Jim Matthies will conduct a service on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 1PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN where friends may call from 11AM till service time at the mortuary.
