Chester E. “C.E.” Roller, 79, of Greenwood, IN, formally of North Judson, IN, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018 at his residence in Greenwood, IN. He was born July 5, 1938 in Logansport, IN to Virgil and Irene (Bailey) Roller. He married Sandra L. (Minix) Roller on October 25, 1960 in North Judson, IN, she survives.
He had been a track inspector for the Pennsylvania Central, New York Central, and Conrail Railroads for over 30 years retiring in 1989. He enjoyed watching T.V.
Survivors include his wife Sandra L. (Minix) Roller of Greenwood, IN; a son Martin G. Roller (Karen L.) of New Whiteland, IN; two grandsons Jacob Roller (Amy) of Franklin, IN and Joe Thomas (Amy) of DeMotte, IN; four great-grandchildren Wyatt and Colton Roller, and Ray and Sam Thomas; a brother Richard Roller (Shannon) of Logansport, IN; and a sister Sondra Orr of Logansport, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a half-brother Walter Yokum and a brother-in-law Dwight Orr.
