Douglas L. Wolfe, 63 of Martinsville, IN passed away Monday, April 9, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born April 16, 1954 in Sullivan, IN to Wayne and Evadene (Street) Wolfe. He married Holly R. (Fankboner) Wolfe on June 17, 1978 in Clarksville, IN, she survives.
He had been employed by U S AGG for 8 years as a UKE truck driver. He was a 1972 graduate of Martinsville High School. He enjoyed fishing, camping, NASCAR, and most importantly to him, spending time with his family and their sporting events.
Survivors include his wife Holly R. (Fankboner) Wolfe of Martinsville, IN; children Jason Wolfe (Megan) of Martinsville, IN, Dustin Wolfe (Eboni) of Martinsville, IN, and Chelsy Perry of Whiteland, IN; seven grandchildren Sydney, Delaney, Jaxton, Logan, Terence, Destin, and Clinton; a brother Duane Wolfe (Pam) of Bowling Green, KY; and a sister Rita Holland of Bowling Green, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A service will be conducted Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 8PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN. A visitation will take place on Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 4PM till service time at the mortuary. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Waverly, IN, at a later date.
