Carolyn (Edwards) Buckner, 84, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2019 at Alpha Home in Indianapolis, IN. She was born January 28, 1934 in Indianapolis, IN to William and Bridie (Cole) Edwards.
She was a member of First Baptist Church North Indianapolis. She had been a secretary for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Indiana, and was a retired secretary from St. Richards Episcopal School in Indianapolis, IN.
Survivors include two friends, Louise Goggins and Harriett Vaughn both of Indianapolis, IN, and a grandson Lujan Harris.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter Rene Buckner; and a grandson Andre Buckner.
A memorial service will take place Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 11AM at First Baptist Church North Indianapolis, 880 West 28th Street in Indianapolis, IN. A graveside service will follow at 12:30PM on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis, IN.
