Laura S. (Harmon) Cunningham, 51, of Greenwood, IN passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis after a 32 year battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was born February 24, 1966 in Carrollton, Kentucky.
She was a 1984 graduate of Center Grove High School and attended IUPUI. She had been a Service Representative at Indiana Gas Company later becoming Vectren for 8 years. She was hard working, enjoyed reading, and in her young life, she enjoyed running around the family farm/golf course in Bedford, Kentucky with her sister and cousins. As Laura’s health began to decline, she loved connecting with friends and family on Facebook. Family was very important to her - she loved her boys, and her late dogs, Mickey and Sophie. She was baptized in a small creek in August of 2016. She loved the Lord and looked forward to the day she could run with Jesus!
Survivors include her two sons Clay K. Baker (Jordyn) of Greenwood, IN and Alec M. Cunningham of Greenwood, IN; her mother Mary Jane Stark Howlett (Doug) of Greenwood IN; father Mike Harmon (Sandy) of Greenville, IN, a sister Beth Meyer (John) of Greenwood, IN; and a niece Sydney Meyer of Greenwood and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Hubert & Lola Stark and Cecil & Gracie Harmon.
The Reverends David Joseph and Scott Luck will conduct a service celebrating the life of Laura S. (Harmon) Cunningham on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 11:30 A.M. at Stones Crossing Church, 7000 West Stones Crossing Road in Greenwood, IN. Friends may call Friday, January 26, 2018 from 4-7 P.M. at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, P.O.
