Condolence: Dear Linda and Family,
I was sad to hear of Howard's illness and passing. He was a good friend and a person I could always count on to give me honest and constructive feedback during our time together at Lilly. (sometimes I did not even have to request it) :-) He made all of us better people and craftsmen.

The times I was able to visit with you and your family was always enjoyable and the strength of your family's bond and love for each other has always been obvious. I hope each of you will take your many fond memories of happy times with Howard and find comfort for yourselves during this sad time of loss.

I will not be able to attend Howard's visitation or service but please know I am thinking of each of you and feel a sense of loss of a dear friend.
