Obituary for Carol Jean (Jeffery) Frost

Carol Jean (Jeffery) Frost, 76, of Whiteland, IN passed away Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis, IN. She was born March 18, 1941 in Huntingburg, IN to Basil and Violet (Pancake) Jeffery. She married Glendo Frost on December 30, 1972 at Greenwood Christian Church, he preceded her in death on August 12, 2012.
She was a wonderful homemaker and loved working in the yard and in the garden. Her fondest memories were living on the Whiteland Farm with her husband Glendo Frost and family for many years. She was a longtime member of Community Congregational Church in Franklin, IN. Her family meant more to her than anything.
Survivors include her daughter, Glenna Rose Devers and son-in-law John, of New Whiteland, IN; grandson Matthew Paul Devers of New Whiteland, IN; granddaughter Juliana Frost Huckabay of Texas; one great-grandson; stepsons John Glenn Frost of Michigan, and Michael Edward Frost of Des Moines, WA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers, Basil “Butch” Jeffery, Donald Jeffery, infant Ronald Jeffery; three sisters, Mary Ann Hedinger, Mrs. Floyd (Faye) Angel, and Margaret Sherman; two stepsons James Brian Frost and Richard Matthew Frost; and one grandson James “Stefanie” Frost.
A service will be conducted on Monday, December 4, 2017 at 10AM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN. Friends may call Sunday, December 3, 2017 from 3PM till 7PM at the mortuary. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, IN.
