Patricia "Anne" (Ivey)  Whited
Patricia “Anne” (Ivey) Whited, 68, of Whiteland, IN passed away Friday, October 20, 2017 at her residence. She was born May 31, 1949 in Greensboro, NC to Clegg Hall Ivey and Doris Elizabeth (Harrison) Ivey. She married William “Bill” “Whitey” Whited on December 1, 1967 in Greensboro, NC, he survives.
She had been employed by Kroger for 26 years in Greenwood, IN at Worthsville Road as a cashier and previously at the Kroger at County Line Road in Greenwood, IN when the store opened as the salad bar manager for 10 years. She was a member of Southpointe Church in Whiteland, IN. She was hard-working and loved her family and pets very much.
Survivors include her husband William “Bill” “Whitey” Whited of Whiteland, IN; two daughters Karen A. Jones of Clearwater, FL, and Stacie E. Whited of Whiteland, IN; a sister Doris Elizabeth “Dottie” Tew (Bobby) of Pleasant Garden, NC; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Garnet and Marcia (McGaha) Whited of Greenwood, IN; nephews and nieces Mark Tew(Crystal Venerable) and Amy Pegram (Eddie) all of Greensboro, NC, Jennifer Armstrong (Eric) and Adam Whited, all of Greenwood, IN; eleven great-nieces and nephews; one great-great-nephew; and her four-legged family members to whom she was referred to as “Grammy” are Fluffy, Hope, Dexter, Daisy Mae, Izzy, and Dusty.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandfather Peter Hamilton Harrison; and her grandmother that raised her, Angelina Elizabeth (Severance) Harrison.
The Reverend Charles Howard will conduct a service Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 1:30 PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South US 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN, 46131. Friends may call Wednesday, October 25, 2017 from 3-8 PM at the mortuary. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to the Johnson County Humane Society, 3827 North Graham Road, Franklin, IN, 46131 or at www.hsjc.org or the Johnson County Animal Shelter, 2160 North Graham Road, Franklin, IN, 46131 in memory of Patricia Anne “PAW” Whited.
