Condolences

Condolence From: Ingrid Thayer
Condolence: My big brother will be sadly missed by all those that he touched. He lived by the rules and was a stand up guy. Out of our family of six he was the only one that went on to having his own big family of 5 children; whom he loved dearly. I will see him again one day.
To his children: Your Dad was one of a kind. Lots of good memories. I am so proud of all of you as you stood up to the plate and did everything you could to care for him. You all made sure that he got everything he needed. Love you all. Aunt Ingrid

Condolence From: Roxanne (Monroe) Hare
Condolence: This is a message from long lost relatives in Valdosta,Ga. Aunt Rosalee informed us recently of the passing of Uncle Bill. I call him that because he and our Dad(Jeffery) were half brothers. I would like to share the great memories I have of Uncle Bill. When me and my two sisters were young along with our parents, we would meet the Monroe clan in Bethlehem to go fishing and eating most of all. Uncle Bill would play with us and he always let us "torment" him when he was trying to take a nap. The guys always got up early to go fishing. Fishing was always one of the reasons for
getting together. We had not seen him for probably 50 or more years. Two years ago we finally made it back to the Indianpolis area to see Aunts Rosalee, Ingrid and your Dad. It was really good to see them all
You are in our thoughts and prayers during this time of loss.

Condolence: We were very sorry to hear of the loss of Bill, your Dad, Grandpa and Great Grandpa
He sure put up a fight for life.
We met Bill and his family the summer of 1971 when they came to Eden Camp Resort to vacation and fish. Bill loved to fish and had many fish stories to tell showing off the pictures of his latest catch. He knew the exact time to go out in the morning and again in the evening. Most of all he taught his children and grandchildren the art of fishing.
Over the past 47 years we not only enjoyed Bill and his family at Eden Camp Resort but we became good friends with Bill and would keep in touch all year long with a few visits in Indianapolis and Franklin Indiana as well as in Chicago, IL.
We will miss Bill in cabin #1, in what we also call "Bill's Cabin", at Eden Camp next summer of 2018 but we know his spirit will be there. He was hoping to make it to our 50th Anniversary of Eden Camp Resort and Bill WILL BE there in spirit to help celebrate.
We love you Bill and your family as we have had so many memorable times together and so may stores to share. Have a safe journey and good fishing. We will think of you often.
With sympathy and love,
Tom and Joyce Jackson and June

Condolence From: Jess & Shirley Shively
Condolence: In John 14:, Jesus said, "In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you."

Bill has gone to claim that mansion prepared for him. I am sure that it must be next to a beautiful lake with the largest fish imaginable for him to catch! Happy fishin', Bill. We'll miss seeing you standing here on the bank of the pond in FUMC catching those poor fish over and over again until their mouths are sore!

Miss ya Buddy!

Jess

Condolence: Dear Monroe family,
“Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out... to a resurrection...” (John 5:28,29)
What a beautiful promise. Jehovah God tells us that we will see our loved ones again and we can be sure of it. He has the power and the desire to fulfill this promise.
