Obituary for John David Butler Sr.

John David Butler, Sr. 50, of Franklin, IN, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Greenwood Health and Living Community in Greenwood, IN. He was born March 18, 1967 in Delaware, OH to Reverend James D. Butler and Rebecca C. (Anderson) Butler.
He was a graduate of Monroe Central High School in Parker City, IN. He had been an over-the-road truck driver for thirty years having covered most of the continental United States. He enjoyed old cars, trucks, and watching Ice Road Truckers.
Survivors include two sons, John David Butler Jr. of Branson, MO, and Bryant Scott Butler of Plainfield, IN; a daughter Ariel Butler Lamb of Branson, MO, parents Reverend James D. and Rebecca C. (Anderson) Butler of Franklin, IN; sister Pastor Mary Loring (Mark) of Chelsea, MI; four grandchildren, Asher Halbmaier, Cuira Halbmaier, Lilly Lamb, and Charlie Lamb; a niece Sarah Loring; and one nephew Eric Loring.
The Reverend Jenothy Rather will conduct a service on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 11:30 A.M. at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN, 46131, where friends may call from 10AM till service time at the mortuary.
