Infant Dalton James Welch, son of Billy Joe Welch and Misty Nicole (Matkins) Welch of Indianapolis, IN. was born on August 30, 2017 at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis, IN and passed away Monday, October 2, 2017 at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis.
Other survivors include brothers Billy Welch, Terry Welch, Jonny Welch, Dylan Matkins, sister Ella Welch, grandparents Teresa Hodges – Wood of Spencer, IN., Dan Matkins of Indianapolis and Betty Phillips of Indianapolis, great grandmother Mamie E. (Patterson) Matkins of Indianapolis, 10 aunts and uncles and many loving cousins.
He was preceded in death by his sister McKenna Matkins on May 6, 2002, grandfather Robert Welch, great grandfather Marvin Matkins, and great grandparents John and Ruth Buster.
Pastor Toby Johnson will conduct a service Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 1:30 PM at Gray Road Baptist Church 5500 Gray Road Indianapolis, IN. 46237 and where friends may call from 12 Noon Thursday till service time at the church. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN. is handling the arrangements.
