Condolences

Condolence From: VL/MJ Vawter
Condolence: Terry, I never met your mother, but I'm sure all her best qualities of character can be seen in you. You've always been such a lovely lady of character in my eyes, and I'm sure that is also a reflection of your mother. A mother's influence is so profound. For years when I watched sports, a camera would focus on a player on the sideline. He'd look into the camera and always say, "Hi, Mom." I suspect there is an ache and a loss in your heart right now because you cannot say that anymore. No more hugs, smiles, kisses, or sharing what happened. Of course, that "anymore" is only in this life. The Christian has promises upon promises of the gift of everlasting life. You will see your mom again. But it will be in resurrected bodies like Jesus'. You'll be able to share the glories you've experienced in your new life. It will seem as if a minute has gone by, but in eternity it might really be 1,000 years. You can trust the promises of Scripture. You will get to say, "Hi, Mom" again. VL
