Mary Ann  Duncan (Deem)
Mary Ann (Deem) Duncan, 80, of Franklin, IN passed away Sunday August 27, 2017 at University Heights Health and Living in Indianapolis, IN. She was born December 23, 1936 in Danville, IN to Eugene Deem and Louise (Malicoat) Wilcox. She married David A. Duncan on July 30, 1954 in Indianapolis, he survives. She had worked for Milto Cleaners, Sears in Greenwood operating the café, candy shop, and later customer service, she later worked at the Hardees Restaurant on State Road 135 and Smith Valley Road for six years. She was a former member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Stones Crossing and a current member of Northern Park Baptist Church in Greenwood, IN.
Surviving is her husband David A. Duncan of Franklin, IN; children David Duncan (Kathy) of Ft. Wayne, IN, Deborah Wallace (Bruce) of Camby, IN, Donald Duncan (Monika) of Morgantown, IN, Damon Duncan (Teresa) of Greenwood, IN, Denise Hurst (Roger) of Acton, IN, and Darlene Sego (Jeff) of Franklin, IN; sister Patty Stoner (Jim) of Brownsburg, IN; half-brother Larry Deem of Jamestown, IN; step-sisters Betty Foster (Al) of Indianapolis, IN; and Barbara Barton (Forest) of Indianapolis, IN; 19 grandchildren; and 47 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and great-granddaughter Audrey Sego.
The Reverend Marion Glover will conduct a service Thursday, August, 31, 2017 at 1PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN where friends may call from 11AM till service time at the mortuary. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to the family at the funeral home.
