Lola Mae Baldock, 76, of Franklin, IN passed away Wednesday, August 02, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born December 2, 1940 in Glasgow, KY to Ersie and Anna (White) Baldock. Following the death of her mother in 1943, her father married Naomi (White) Baldock who raised her and she considered to be her mother. She had worked at Nichols Cabinets in Bargersville, IN for several years and was a homemaker. She was a member of Bluff Creek Christian Church and the Loyal Order of the Moose Greenwood Lodge 834. She enjoyed dancing, traveling with her sisters and having fun spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, sister, and aunt.
Survivors include her son Barry W. Rhude of Franklin, IN; a daughter Karen Colette DeLeeuw (Paul) of Elberfeld, IN; siblings Phillip Baldock (Connie) of Greenwood, IN, Patsy D. Rinker (Marvin) of Greenwood, IN, Judy D. McIntosh of Franklin, IN, Jeff A. Baldock (Beverly) of Bargersville, IN, and Sherry R. Henderson (Greg) of Greenwood, IN; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends may call Saturday, August 5, 2017 from 1PM till 2PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN with the Reverend Stan Icenogle conducting a private family service to follow.
