Joy M. (Rice) Balish, 87, of Greenwood, IN passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis, IN. She was born April 30, 1930 in Jackson, MI to Harley and Ada (Ramsdell) Rice. She had been a clerical worker.
Survivors include her children Darla M. Balish of Bargersville, IN, Russ Balish (Niki) of Greenwood, IN, Frank Balish of Hudson, FL, Diane Weigandt (Tim) of St. Petersburg, FL., Denise Balish of Chicago, IL, and Dolores Kokinos of Madison, WI; nine grandchildren, and daughter-in-law M. K. Balish.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son Rick Balish on October 31, 2010.
Services are private. Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center in Franklin is handling the arrangements.
