Stanley M. Swartz, 70, of Trafalgar, IN, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin, IN. He was born June 26, 1946 in Martinsville, IN to Marshall J. Swartz and Mildred I. (Sisson) Swartz.
Stanley was a 1965 graduate of Trafalgar High School and was a United States Air Force Reserve Veteran. He had been a machinist tool and die maker for Mobile Drilling in Indianapolis, IN for thirty years.
Surviving are his children Jeffrey G. Swartz of Trafalgar, IN and Angela N. Stahl (Dan) of Franklin, IN; seven grandchildren Zachery Swartz, Shania Dodson, Shelby Dodson, Natalie Swartz, Gunnar Swartz, Kylie D. Stahl, and Camren D. Stahl; and a brother Robert Swartz (Paige) of Nineveh, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister Delores Swartz. A service will be conducted on Monday, May 22, 2017 at 7PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31, (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN, where a visitation will take place from 5PM till service time Monday, May 22, 2017 at the mortuary.
