Donna Jean Lee, 48, of Trafalgar, IN passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at her residence. She was born November 28, 1968 at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin, IN. She was a 1987 graduate of Indian Creek High School and attended Vincennes University. She owned and operated her own home cleaning service. She previously had been a waitress for the Bargersville and Trafalgar restaurants for 30 years. She was a volunteer at heart; for her family, and community, including the fish fry’s for the Trafalgar Volunteer Fire Department, the Carrie Clayburn FFA Scholarship Dinner, programs at Indian Creek High School, and was active with her children in Johnson County 4-H. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and friend to so many.
Survivors include her husband Jeffrey D. Lee of Trafalgar, IN whom she married on July 3, 1993 at Greenwood Christian Church; her daughter Kirsten A. Lee of Trafalgar, IN; her son Jeremy P. Lee of Trafalgar, IN; mother Alice Jean “A.J.” (Hogue) Brownfield; and stepfather Michael Brownfield of Trafalgar, IN; father Robert Fancher (Phyllis) of Indianapolis, IN; brother David Lee Fancher (Daniella Fancher) of Arlington, VA; maternal grandmother Pearl (Burgin) Hogue of Trafalgar, IN; mother-in-law Marcia (Foley) Campbell (Craig) of Franklin, IN; two half-brothers Brandon Fancher (Abby) and Josh Fancher both of Greenfield, IN; step-brother Douglas Brownfield (Bev) of Franklin, IN; step-sister Angela Burdine (Josh) of Franklin, IN; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Paul Hogue on May 29, 1996, father-in-law Dennis Lee, and grandparents-in-law James and Evelyn Lee; and Paul and Bertha Foley; and her aunt, Ruth Ann (Hogue) Stancombe.
The Reverend Jeff Johnson will conduct a service on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 10AM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN. Friends may call Friday, April 7, 2017 from 2-8PM at the mortuary. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, IN. Memorial contributions may be made for a scholarship for Jeremy P.
