Cassie Marie Lamoreaux, 93, of Greenwood, IN passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Franciscan Hospice House in Indianapolis, IN. She was born May 12, 1923 in Binghamton, New York to William Bebel and Josephine (Libera) Bebel. She married Claude Richard Lamoreaux on July 11, 1948 in Montrose, PA, he preceded her in death on December 13, 2011. She had worked at Bennet’s Market and retired as a bank teller at HSBC at the age of 59, both in Windsor, New York. She was also a homemaker, loved baking, cooking, and gardening. She was a woman of strong faith, a member of Honey Creek United Methodist Church in Greenwood, IN and a former member of Windsor United Methodist Church in Windsor, New York.
Surviving is her son Craig S. Lamoreaux (Tracy) of Greenwood, IN; her daughter Joan Chase (David) of Canal Fulton, OH; grandson Jeff Chase (Lisa) of Greenwood, IN; granddaughter Deanna Kuykendall of Barberton, OH; two great-grandsons Conner Chase and Braden Chase; a great-granddaughter Cassandra Kuykendall; a step great-grandson Jeffery Kuykendall .
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and eight brothers and sisters.
The Reverend Brad Miller will conduct a memorial service 1PM on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Honey Creek United Methodist Church, 2722 South Honey Creek Road, Greenwood, IN, 46143. Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN, is handling the arrangements.
