Brian and family, I am saddened to learn of your dad's passing. I always admired him and sought his valuable input on matters of the community. We, the community, have benefitted from his tireless community service. In particular the thankless service of the Center Grove School Board. His years on the board were the years of rapid student population growth and demands for facilities were never ending. It took a steady hand to steer through the obstacles to keep taxes low and maintain quality facilities and education opportunities. I credit your dad's leadership during those years for the tremendous success our once small Center Grove School enjoys today. I am in northern Indiana now and will not be able to attend services for your dad. Please be mindful I am thinking of you and hope your fond memories of being the son of Bill Walker will support you through this time of sorrow. God Bless Ken Baker
