Obituary for Margaret J. Baker (Davisson)

Margaret J. (Davisson) Baker, 90, of Franklin, IN passed away Thursday, March 09, 2017 at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis, IN. She was born September 3, 1926 in Shelby County, IN to Frank and Mabel (Barber) Davisson. She was a 1944 graduate of Scottsburg High School. She had been a commercial loan officer for Franklin Bank and Trust for twenty five years retiring in 1989. She later volunteered at Franklin Memorial Christian Church. She was a member of Victory Christian Church in Franklin and a former charter member of Whiteland Christian Church. She was a wonderful seamstress, enjoyed gardening, working cross word puzzles, reading, and an advocate for lifelong learning.
Survivors include her two daughters, Claudia D. Clarkson (Joe) of Phoenix, AZ and Christina Reguli (Dennis) of Nashville, TN; a granddaughter Jessica Reguli (Roderick Trestrail) of Nashville, TN; a brother Ted Davisson (Norma) of Scottsburg, IN.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Baker, and two brothers Elmer Davisson and Bradford Davisson.
The Reverend Larry McAdams will conduct a service on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 2PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN. Friends may call Monday, March 13, 2017 from 1PM till service time at the mortuary. A graveside service will be conducted at 2PM Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Scottsburg Cemetery in Scottsburg, IN. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to Christian Chapel, 6828 West State Road 44, Morgantown, IN, 46160.
