Beverley L. Hart (Schnyder)
Beverley L. (Schnyder) Hart, 80, of Greenwood, IN passed away Friday, February 3, 2017 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis, IN. She was born August 19, 1936 in Indianapolis, IN to Leo Robert Schnyder and Audrey Grace (Thornburg) Schnyder. She married C. William “Bill” Hart on March 26, 1976 at Advent Lutheran Church in Greenwood, IN. She was a 1954 graduate of Southport High School. She had served as Greenwood City Clerk-Treasurer from 1976 until 1984, Johnson County Clerk of the Courts from 1984 until 1992 and Johnson County Treasurer from 1992 until 2001. She previously had been a school secretary at Greenwood Northeast Elementary School. She was a member of the Johnson County Republican Party, Johnson County Republican Women’s Club, precinct committee woman and vice-precinct committee woman of Pleasant 16. She also was a member of Risen Lord Lutheran Church in Bargersville, and formerly Advent Lutheran Church and Abundant Grace Lutheran Church in Greenwood, a fifty year member of Prospect Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #452 in Indianapolis, Greenwood Women’s Club, Tri Kappa Sorority, and was a lifetime trustee of Johnson County Youth Connections. She also was a graduate of Johnson County Leadership. She was an active member of the Southside Symphony Group. She enjoyed playing bridge. She was a loving wife, mother, and enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband C. William “Bill” Hart of Greenwood, IN; children Kimberly A. Dils and her husband David Buck of Indianapolis, IN, Jeffrey B. Dils and his wife Stacey of Plano, TX, and Kristy L. Dils Ulerick and her husband Gary of Whiteland, IN; two grandchildren Morgan L. Kleppe of Whiteland and Jack C. Dils of Plano, TX.
Pastors David Smith and Emily Wiles will conduct a service Friday, February 10, 2017 at 2PM at Risen Lord Lutheran Church, 3758 West Whiteland Road, Bargersville, IN. Friends may call Thursday, February 9, 2017 from 3-8 PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton) Street, in Franklin, IN and Friday, February 10, 2017 from 1PM till service time at the church. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, IN.
