Obituary for Delores D. Cutler

Delores D. (Dutton) Cutler, 94, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away Wednesday, February 01, 2017. She was born July 1, 1922 in Cincinnati, OH, to Roy and Mabel (Bickel) Dutton. She married Dr. Charles Russell Cutler on June 15, 1945 in Cincinnati, OH, he preceded her in death on February 21, 2010.
She was a graduate of Mariemont High School and Campbell Business College. She was the salutatorian of her high school graduating class. She had been employed by Union Central Life Insurance Company in Cincinnati, OH, and Ohio State University for seven years. She had been a volunteer for Community Hospital South in Indianapolis, IN for 20 years. She had been a member of the Community Church of Greenwood. She enjoyed volunteering at the church and knitting.
Survivors include her son Keith Roy Cutler of Indianapolis, IN; and a niece Beverly Liming of Cincinnati, and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Dr. Charles Russell Cutler; and a sister Wanda Hessler.
A service will be conducted on Friday, February 3, 2017 at 1PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN, where friends may call Friday from 12 Noon till service time at the mortuary. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, IN. A gathering will follow the graveside service at 3PM on Friday, February 3, 2017 at the Friendship Parlor at Crestwood Village South. Memorial contributions may be made to the Johnson County Humane Society, 3827 North Graham Road, Franklin, IN, 46131. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.swartzmortuary.com.
