Condolence From: Bobbie and Matt Slabaugh
Condolence: Karlyn and those beautiful & sweet girls, we are so very sorry to hear of your loss. We just found out today or we would have been at the service. My heart truly breaks for all of you. You were wonderful neighbors and wonderful people. Our deepest condolences and you will always be in our hearts and prayers. My favorite memory is seeing all of you walking to church on Sunday mornings, we should have been walking behind you. Please let us know if there is anything we can do or even if you are ever in the old neighborhood please stop by, we are still here. Take care. Bobbie & Matt Slabaugh

Condolence: Karlyn and girls, we were so sad to hear of Matt's passing. However, knowing that Matt knew Christ as his Savior and Lord is such an encouragement; knowing that he is truly with Jesus. Praying for you. We love you.

Condolence From: Jeff & Laura Cummings
Condolence: Matt was a trouper when it came to his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ! We have fond memories of hanging out with him, Karlyn, and the girls. It was a blessing going out on the streets evangelizing together--passing out gospel tracts and having conversations with people about eternal things. Usually Matt and I (Jeff) would be paired-up and I can remember many great opportunities we had to share the gospel with someone who wanted to know the truth! Sharing the gospel with people came second nature to Matt. We will always remember that about him! The last time we talked to him was opening day at the Johnson County Fair, where we were working a Christian booth. Right in the middle of his illness he was so positive and made it clear that he was trusting the Lord completely, no matter the outcome. We were so encouraged by his testimony--it was a good way to begin the fair--on such a high note! We will miss Matt, but we know for sure that he is with our Lord right now! Our prayers are with you Karlyn, Emily, Mary, (and other kids) for God to keep you in His caring arms. Jeff, Laura, Rebecca

Condolence: On behalf of the Class of 1977 from Whiteland Community High School - we wish to offer our deepest condolences.
Matt was a wonderful guy. While some of us may have lost contact with him over the years, we all remember him with fond memories. He was one of the best.
We pray that in this difficult time, the love of God shelters you and mends your pain.

Condolence: So sorry to hear about Matt's passing. I remember when we were in the single's class together at Gray Road in the early years. (I called it the "older mature sophisticated singles".) It was so very good to get to know Matt. Always had a smile on his face. Our deepest condolences and prayers to the family. Thank you that we have a God that is always there for us. Love to all!
