Kenneth E. Edwards, 69, of Greenwood, IN passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Christina House in Franklin, IN. He was born January 18, 1947 in Louisville, KY to Luther Howard Edwards and Frances Marie (Bailey) Edwards Equiggn. He married Mary J. (Gribbins) Belton Edwards on February 28, 1998 in Indianapolis, IN, she survives.
He had been employed by ProBuild, formerly Carter Lee in Indianapolis, IN for twelve years retiring in 2015 having worked in the trim shop. He was a member of Berean Baptist Church in Greenwood, IN. His greatest achievement was his marriage to his wife Mary.
Survivors include his wife Mary J. (Gribbins) Belton Edwards of Greenwood, IN; sons Mark Wayne Belton (Wendy) of Greenwood, IN, Steve Edwards and Jonathan Edwards both of South Carolina; daughter Ann Edwards of Kentucky; two sisters, Joyce Jeffries and Dorothy Kulner both of Louisville, KY; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons Larry Belton and Ronnie Belton.
Stan Icenogle will conduct a memorial service on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 2PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN, where the family will receive friends from 1PM till service time.
