The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Velma Neff can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: I am so sorry for your loss - she was a precious, precious neighbor and we will miss her greatly! I loved her spunk! She would often tell me stories of adventures with her grandkids - one that stuck with me was her going snow tubing with them when she was in her 70's! Cherish those memories, she loved you all very much!

Condolence: My mother thought the world of Velma and Elwood. She enjoyed bringing her famous "Snicker doodles" to church for you. I believe the two friends are reunited now and are awaiting the arrival of the rest of their loved ones. I sincerely hope God sends his angels to comfort your family in this time of loss.

When loved ones first depart from us our hearts find no relief.
And then, in time, our faith in God releases us from grief.
In time, we trust the Savior's claim that death does not endure.
It is life that lasts forever in a hope that stands secure.
For with his death, Christ promised us that souls washed clean would gain a place with Him in paradise And there they would remain.
Thus mourning turns to comfort for we know, in time, we'll be once again together for all eternity.
