Ronald L. Mogle, 74, of Franklin, IN passed away Friday, July 15, 2016. He was born August 8, 1941 in New Castle, IN to Robert and Margaret Ellen (Norman) Mogle. He married Leah Rae (Stevens) Mogle on November 14, 1959 in Indianapolis, IN she survives.
He retired after thirty-seven years of service as foreman for Navistar, formerly known as International Harvester in Indianapolis, IN. He was a member of the United Auto Workers Union Local 98 where he had served as union steward and committeeman. He enjoyed hotrods, hunting, and woodworking.
Survivors include his wife Leah Rae (Stevens) Mogle of Franklin, IN; two daughters Lea Rae Pearcy (Scott) of Knightstown, IN and Cindi Martin (Scott) of Trafalgar, IN; three brothers Bob Mogle (Sally) of Sebring, FL, Tim Mogle (Dorothy) of Indianapolis, IN, and Norm Mogle of Indianapolis, IN; a half- sister Charlene Swails of Atlanta, GA; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date. Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center in Franklin is handling the arrangements.
