Timothy J. “Tim” Rice, 23, of Greenwood, IN passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016. He was born May 5, 1992 at St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove, IN.
He was a 2010 graduate of Center Grove High School and attended Ivy Tech College in Franklin, IN. He was a talented musician especially with the guitar, and enjoyed learning and reading.
Survivors include his mother Tamara L. (Tandy) Rice of Mooresville, IN; father Kenneth C. Rice of Greenwood, IN; a sister Kristen Rice (Justin Grimstad) of Indianapolis, IN; a nephew Liam Pentzer of Indianapolis, IN; paternal grandfather Kenneth F. Rice of Eminence, IN; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Reverend James L. Ray and Marilynn “Lynn” Ray; and paternal grandmother Eva (McKee) Rice.
The Reverend Andy Kinsey will conduct a memorial service on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 7PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN, where the family will receive friends from 4PM till service time at the mortuary.
