The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of James Thompson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Rob, Kristi, Aida, and Dawson Desaulniers
Condolence: Joyce, Larry, and families,

We are so very thankful to have had the privilege to know Jim and see him on many yearly occasions for the South Dakota pheasant hunts. HIs smile was ever present, his kindness and warmth surrounding each conversation, and his positive outlook on life will be remembered.

We lift you in prayer to find peace and comfort in your days as you remember a life well-lived.

Hugs to all from one of your South Dakota 'families',
The Desaulniers

Condolence: Joyce,

We are thinking of you and your family after the loss of Jim. It has been a lot of years since the guys started coming to SD to hunt and there were LOTS of conversations and hello/goodbye hugs. Whenever we saw Jim, he always had a big grin on his face! It was a pleasure to know him and get acquainted with his immediate and extended family. We know he will be greatly missed.
