Obituary for Louis H. Freudenstein

Louis H. Freudenstein, 84, of Franklin, IN, and a resident of the Franklin United Methodist Community passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin.
He was born July 6, 1931 in Ripley County, Indiana to Louis H. Freudenstein Sr. and Violet (Lindsay) Freudenstein. He married Norma J. (Willmann) Freudenstein on October 9, 1954 in Hanover, Indiana, she preceded him in death on December 7, 2014.
He had been a rate clerk and dispatcher for OK Trucking in Indianapolis, IN for thirty-eight years. He later worked for MegaSys in Greenwood, IN as a dispatcher. He enjoyed spending winters with his late wife in Ft. Myers, Florida. He was a member of Gray Road Baptist Church in Indianapolis, IN. He enjoyed spending time on his computer, was a Colts and Indiana University Fan, watching racing, football, and figure skating. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great- grandfather.
Survivors include his children Mark Freudenstein (Kathy) of Greenwood, IN Brent Freudenstein (Lynetta) of Indianapolis, IN; a daughter Rhonda Medsker (Quinn) of Greenwood, IN; grandchildren Luke Freudenstein and Lindsay Freudenstein both of Indianapolis, IN, Chad Freudenstein (Ashley) of Indianapolis, IN, Corey Freudenstein (Jessica) of Indianapolis, IN Stephanie Duffy (Travis) of Arcadia, IN; four great- grandchildren Bryston Duffy, Kinsley Duffy, Mya Freudenstein, and Baby F. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and a brother Charles Freudenstein. The Reverend Marion Glover will conduct a service 10:30AM Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN with a graveside service to follow at 2:30PM at Shelby Christian Church Cemetery near Versailles, IN with burial to follow.
