Condolence: Jean Ann and family-I am so sorry to hear about Ron's passing. Jennifer called me after Tom had called her. I did not know about the cancer. As a matter of fact, I had just commented on the group picture on FB. I thought everyone looked so good. I send you my blessings and ask that God will bless you and all of your family as you go on. I have known Ron for many years, since he and Tom started refereeing. He always made me laugh, and I am sure that will be a majority of what you hear about him. Condolence: Wilma has known Ron through his Rockville sports participation since high school years, having graduated from Turkey Run High School in '68. As a move-in in the 70's, George got to know Ron when they played "pick-up" basketball games at Rockville and then when George was Varsity Coach of Turkey Run Girls Basketball and Ron was one of our regular officials. Ron was one of the "good guys" no matter his role. We enjoyed his sense of humor and the way he interacted with others. We respected the way he presented himself as he fulfilled the difficult job of officiating high school basketball games. He made the world a better place. We extend our belated, but heartfelt, sympathy to Ron's family.

I always respected Ron's committment and career in officiating football and basketball--he was a wonderful supporter of high school sports and he touched the lives of many coaches and athletes througout the years. Condolence: My family sends their sympathy for the loss of our cousin Ronnie. He was always cheerful and pleasant and fun to be around. His grandma who was my Aunt Laura was very proud of him and loved him very much. I will not be able to attend the service but my prayers will be with you during this difficult time.

Condolence: I am sorry to hear of Ron's passing. I have coached Varsity Basketball for 30 years, with stops at North Vermillion, Fountain Central, and currently at Barr-Reeve. I have always considered Ron a good friend through officiating . He was good for HS basketball! Thanks Ron for your professionalism and friendship!!
