Brenda Rose (Jones) Ellis, 53, of Franklin, Indiana passed away Thursday, May 9, 2013 at her residence. She was born October 28, 1959 in Franklin, Indiana to Clyde Edgar Jones and Rose Marie (Farmer) Jones. She was a 1978 graduate of Center Grove High School and a member of Community Congregational Church in Franklin. She was a volunteer with the concessions at Franklin Middle School, supporting her son’s sports. She had been an assembler for Caterpillar in Franklin for six years.
Survivors include her children Amanda J. Stout (Ben) of Bargersville, Indiana, Russell W. Ellis (Kristin) of Franklin, Indiana, and Ross W. Ellis of Franklin, Indiana; her mother, Rose M. (Farmer) Jones Anderson of Franklin, Indiana; her sister, Rita Vernon (Jim) of Jacksonville, Florida; and three grandchildren, Stephen Stout, Randy Stout, Vincent Ellis, and is expecting her fourth grandson anytime. She was preceded in death by her father and an infant son, Randy Ellis.
Reverend Dan McLaughlin will conduct a service Monday, May 13, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. at Swartz Family Community Mortuary And Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin. Friends may call Sunday, May 12, 2013 from 3 P.M. until 7 P.M. at the mortuary. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, Indiana.
