Marjorie Lucille Beasley (Webber)
Marjorie Lucille Beasley, 76, of Indianapolis, Indiana and formerly of Franklin, Indiana took her final bow on Monday April 29, 2013 at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Marjorie was born on August 15, 1936 in Washington, Indiana to Carl and Lucille (Sloan) Webber. She met Thomas Beasley and they began their duet on April 13, 1957 in Indianapolis. They were blessed with three sons, Thomas Dale Beasley and daughter-in-law Sandy of Indianapolis, Jon Mark Beasley and daughter-in-law Joanne of Dearborn, Michigan, and Richard Carl Beasley and daughter-in-law Kelley. Added to her blessings were six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was a graduate of Virginia Community College in Lynchburg, Virginia with an associate’s degree in the Paralegal field. Marjorie had a love for the arts and Community Theater, being active in Our Town Players in Franklin, Marry Mac in Martinsville, Epilogue Players in Indianapolis and Hoosier Heartland Repertory Theater in Greenfield.
A memorial “Curtain Call” Celebration of her life will be conducted at 7:30 P.M. on Monday, May 20, 2013 at the Artcraft Theater in Franklin. Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center in Franklin is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Artcraft Theater, 57 N. Main Street, Franklin, Indiana 46131.
